'Promoter Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions says Pacquao vs Marquez 2 possible March 15, 2008'

(Post fight pic in the nov 3 2007 boxing match.) The main event of the November 3 2007 in Tucson, Arizona’s Desert Diamond Casino, was a fight between the WBC super featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez and 2000 U.S. silver medalist Rocky Juarez. Champion Marquez defended his world title in Tucson over 12 rounds via unanimous decision and said he wants Manny next. In a telephone interview in the Philippine media, Pacquiao said Marquez was ”slow and had no real power”. He also added that he is capable of finishing Marquez in the first round. Promoter Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions feels that this is a fight that boxing needs right now. Manny Pacquaio needs to fight Marquez next in order to cement his legacy as among the best boxers in history. Recently top boxers are saying that Manny is fighting aging mexican boxing legends and he should be fighting young ones. Manny needs Marquez WBC superfeatherweight belt to add to his current WBC Internation superfetherweight belt. He made $7 million on his last fight with Barrera, this next one againt Marquez will definitely a fortune.

'(OLD FIGHT)Pacquaio vs Marquez- May 8, 2004- Last vegas (should there be a rematch?)'

Juan Manuel Marquez is the current WBC Super Featherweight Champion. In May 2004, he fought Manny Pacquaio to a draw. This was a lucky fight for Marquez. He was destroyed by Pacquao's left hand bombs early in the fight . Manny knocked him out 3 times in the first round. Marquez was so lucky to survive the first round. Later in the rounds he figured out a way to avoid Mannys left hand bombs. They fought in a battle that I though Manny won. The fight ended in a draw. Maybe there should be a rematch between Pacquaio and Marquez since this ended in a draw. This could be a future trilogy.

'SECTION 7: Lea Salonga returns to Broadway in the musical Les Misérable. Those broadway tickets are hot right now in NYC'

Lea Salonga as Fantine in Les Misérables

On January 3, 2007 it was announced that Salonga would return to Broadway in the musical Les Misérables replacing Daphne Rubin-Vega as Fantine on March 6. Her tenure started, however, on March 2, four days earlier than planned. Her casting on the show has been credited with boosting the musical's ticket sales on Broadway. On September 27, 2007, Philippine president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who was in New York, proceeded to Broadway's Broadhurst Theater (235 West 44th Street) to watch Salonga in her new role in the musical. The cast for that night included Filipino-Americans Adam Jacobs as Marius and Ali Ewoldt as Cosette.

Salonga recently made it again to the short list of Broadway.com's Audience Award favorites -- this time for Best Replacement for her new role in Les Misérables. Her contract with the musical ends on October 21, 2007, and she is set to do some performances (including a guest stint in the US Military Academy Band's forthcoming show and her own concert in New York and several projects in Manila and other Asian cities afterwards.

LETS GO SEE LEA. IF YOU HAVE EXTRA TICKETS SEND IT TO ME. HEHEHE...

'SECTION 5: MANNY PACQUIAO is most exciting boxer right now.'

************************************************************************************
WHO SHOULD MANNY PACQUIAO FIGHT NEXT ?
************************************************************************************

MANNY PACQUIAO is now 28 years old. His boxing record is 45-3 and 2 draws. He is the WBC International Super Featherweight Champion. (@130pounds). Manny's wealth increase by $7 million dollars the total payroll he made in his last fight, against Barrera on October 6, 2007.

JUAN DIAZ has WBA and WBO lightweight( 135 pounds) belt. Now he wants MANNYS WBC international belt.He was saying Manny should fight a younger fighter like him(22 yrs old) instead of fighting old mexican legend like his paisano Barrera who is 32 yrs old.

If this match capitalize this will be good fight. There will be a lot of prize money for both fighters. There are a lot of money to be made when a Mexican and a Filipino fight. The question is at what weight, super featherweight or lightweight.Manny is 130 pounds . Juan is 135 pounds. Should they fight be at 135 pounds(lightweight) or 130 pounds (super feather weight)? I would say it is Mannys advantage if they fight at 130 pounds.

Manny Pacquiao is most exciting boxer right now. He is the current WBC International Super Featherweight Champion with a 45-3 record 2 draws and 35 knock outs. Pacquiao fought Barrera for the second time on Saturday, October 6, 2007 in Mandalay Bay , Las Vegas. FANS HAVE BEEN WAITHING 4 years for this Rematch. Manny won the the first one 4 years ago on November 15, 2003 via TKO in the 11th round. He also won the second one on October_17, 2007 via unanimous decision. AND STILL the WBC International Super Featherweight champion of the world. He already put away the 2 great mexican boxers Eric Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera.
