'SECTION 3: NEW YORK ( NYC ) TRAVEL'

New York City (NYC) has the best buses and train network in the world because you can get to about anywhere in the city. To the Empire State building, Wall Street, Chinatown, Little Italy and other tourist destinations.

Question: how to move around from JFK international airport to anywhere (Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and other place?

ANSWER:From JFK (NYC) airport take the free airport bus to the subway station called Howard Beach.
Pay $2.00 and ask the clerk which train to take to manhattan or your destination.
The subways are safe because there are new york transit police.

Question: Fares?

The fare for a subway or local bus ride is $2. The fare for an express bus ride is $5. If you qualify for reduced fare, you can travel for half fare. Up to three children 44 inches tall and under ride for free on subways and local buses when accompanied by a fare paying adult. Infants (under two years of age) ride express buses free if the child sits on the lap of the accompanying adult.
