Edwin Valero of Venezuela and challenger Antonio DeMarco of Mexico have each made weight for their WBC lightweight title fight in the northern Mexico city of Monterrey.

They both weighed in on Friday at 135 pounds each for Saturday's bout.

Valero is 26-0 and has won them all by knockouts. DeMarco is 23-1-1 with 17 KOs.

Valero's first 18 fights did not go past the first round, and only once has Valero gone past the ninth round.
