There is a posibility Manny Paquaio will fight Miguel Cotto this November 09 in Madison Square Garden
Promoter Bob Arum said on Saturday night he would like to see Manny Pacquiao face Floyd Mayweather Jr., and the Filipino’s next likely opponent would be Puerto Rican puncher Miguel Cotto sometime in November or December with New York as venue.
Miguel Cotto will have a homecourt advantage in New York because all the people outside Puerto Rico resides here about 99.9%. I'll guarantee Fat Joe and Jennifer Lopez gon be in da buildin on da big day.
If the Cotto match do happen, this will be good news to all Filipinos in the East Coast of the USA, who will not have to make a long trip to Las Vegas, the new Mecca of boxing, as well boxing fans all over the globe.
The Pacqauio-Cotto fight will be an excellent product for Top Rank to produce and the fans will love it. It is a neccesity for Top Rank to make this happen and make boxing exciting again.
I wrote in my earlier blog about Miguel Cotto althought this is a Manny Pacqauio zone because he is one of my favorate boxer too, but i will have to go with Manny again on this match.

OLD VIDEO MANNY PACQUIAO TRAINING FOR HATTON
Its nice to hear Boboy Fernandez, Manny Pacqauio's trainer instructing Manny in Bisaya (Filipino) at to hit the body a couple of times then follow up upstairs with an uppercut with filipino language. Finally this bisaya/filipino dude made it to the Big Dance in Boxing. I dubbed the Battle of the East and West as Bruce "Manny" Lee vs Chuck "Rickey" Norkis. Just a joke. Credits to Top Rank Boxing and Golden Boy promotion for matching the best boxers of the world and givng enjoyment to boxing fans.
Ricky should have watch this video and watch the slides and then the sureball (left hand bomb that this bisaya/filipino dudes were talking about in the video cause this was demonstated in the May 2 2009 match with Ricky Hatton. Manny is known to knockout boxers with his left hand bomb. I guest its to late.
peace out
see ya soon.
Pacqauio vs Hatton Battle of East and West results May 2 2009
Manny Pacquiao was the victor of the Battle of the East and West boxing event on May 2 2009 at MGM Grand in the Last Vegas. Manny Pacqauio is still the pound for pound king in boxing. Hattons application for the position has been place in the bottom of the pile at the end of the match.
That fight was very one sided. It ended in the 2nd round with 8 second left when Pacquaio unleashed his powerful left hand bomb that send Hatton to the canvas for good. It was a wicked punch to the chin that had Hatton unconscious for a moment to end the match. Earlier, in the first round Hatton was knockdown twice.
Coming up in a few months is the Maywether vs Juan Marquez fight. Maywether came out of retirement and will have to beat Juan Marquez to earn a match with the pound for pound king Manny Pacqauio.
