THANKS TO GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS AND TOP RANK
THANKS TO GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS AND TOP RANK.
Thanks for putting a good show for your us boxing fans.
Im a big fan of Oscar de la Hoya, Bob Arum and Gary Shaw.
When i was in Cebu, Philippines. I am so fortunate to see in person, Manny Pacquao and Oscar de la Hoya. I saw Oscar De la hoya in Cebu when he putting a boxing promotion called the Battle of Cebu. That was the biggestboxing promotion in Cebu. The event was on a Saturday night and I can still remember the streets were empty , the bars were empty because most of the people were in attendance. I was having my lunch when i heared in the news that Oscar de la Hoya as depositing $500,000 for bond money in a Philipine Bank for the Battle of Cebu. That means the event is on.
In Cebu, I have an informal boxing camp. One of our members is a famous Philippine Champion. He fought in Russia and Austria. And beleive it or not Manny Pacquio was his undercard. Our camp are never afraid to go against the popular ALA gym in Cebu. Our team captain being the former champ use to beat up some people in ala gym in sparring. I hope next year we can organise and start kicking butt.
Thats my boxing memory. I want to go back to boxing by next year. Hopefully i will complete my job this year then i will go back to boxing. Of course not as a boxer but more on management.
If im lucky to have readers who is a knowlegable boxing manager please give me your advise and i will be forever grateful to you for life.

WHY MANNY DESERVES TO WIN??
MANNY DESERVE THE BELT BECAUSE HE EARNED IT.
ALSO HE WAS ROB OF THE BELT ON THE FIRST MATCH AGAINST MARQUEZ
To get the belt he had to go through all this great Mexican legends.
In conquering Marquez, Pacquiao buttressed his reputation as the “Mexican Assassin,” having also mastered future Hall of Famers Erik Morales (twice in three bouts) and Marco Antonio Barrera (twice), as well as other topnotch Mexican fighters, like Oscar Larios, Hector Velasquez and Jorge Solis.
Offer for a part 3 by Golden Boy Promotions:
There, Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions that handles Marquez’s career, made a $6-million offer for a Pacquiao-Marquez III. But Bob Arum, president and CEO of Top Rank, refused to bite.
JUDGES DECISIONS:
For a while, Filipinos in the crowd fell silent when it was announced that judge Jerry Roth had scored the fight, 115-112, for Marquez.
They saw hope when another judge, Duane Ford, gave the fight to Pacquiao, also by 115-112, and then erupted in celebration when the third judge, Tom Miller, delivered the clinching verdict, 114-113, for the Filipino ring icon.

Top Rank boss Bob Arum now promotes Pacquiao but was Marquez’s promoter for the first fight. He has been critical of Marquez’s management, saying the fighter received bad advice about holding out for more money, which prevented a rematch from being arranged sooner. Arum said Pacquiao should have been the winner last time. “I was amazed when Marquez got up and carried on and gave a really good account of himself for the rest of the fight,” Arum said. “I thought it was a tremendously gutty performance by Marquez. That being said, other than the fact that a judge made a mistake, Manny won that fight.”
